Assistant Manager/Leasing Agent

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hardworking, and motivated individual to assist in the marketing, leasing and administrative efforts. Candidate must possess a strong understanding of how to create a sense of community while providing an exceptional customer service experience and the ability to balance the needs of multiple parties.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle activities associated with apartment leasing, move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and operations management.
  • Provide high quality customer service to residents and work closely with property maintenance.
  • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff.
  • Develop new resident marketing and resident retention strategies.
  • Enthusiastically communicate and respond to all inquiry traffic via phones, on-site and online.
  • Show apartments, qualify prospects, process lease applications, sign leases, and work to retain a 100% occupancy rate at all times.
  • Cost management through cost effectiveness and efficient use of third-party vendors.
  • Assisting in gathering and compiling current market and economic information.
  • This position is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
  • Experience in property management or hospitality preferred but not required.
